GFG Rail part of the consortium that will realize the new Ontario Line subway project

The Ontario Line project consists of a new fleet of driverless subway trains that will run up to every 90 seconds through the heart of Toronto on 15.6 km tracks.

The Connect 6ix Consortium including Plenary Americas, Webuild S.p.A, NGE, IBI Group, Transdev Canada, Japan Infrastructure Initiative Company Limited has signed an agreement for the realization of the new line trains, systems, operations and maintenance (RSSOM) package.

Hitachi Rail as leader of the Connect 6ix Consortium has chosen to commission GFG Rail to take care of the concept and preliminary design, and to realize the final design book and the video animation final design book and the video animation.
